Tikal (ティカル, Tikaru) is a mobian echidna that helps you in Sonic Adventure while taking the form of a ball of light, much like omochao in later games. She had a strong relationship with the chao & their guardian, Chaos. When her father tried to take the chaos emeralds, she tried to stop him, however was trampled along with the chao. She sealed Chaos & her soul in the Master Emerald.
She is a playable character in the multiplayer treasure hunting mode Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.
